Team Photo – October 29
Today is our team photo day. Please arrive by 4:00 PM. Shirts will be handed out upon arrival. All of our swimmers need to be lined up and ready to have the team photo taken at 4:30 PM, with individual photos beginning at 3:15 PM. Order forms are available at the pool. Only Achieving & Performing groups will have practice today beginning at 4:45 PM.
#LOL-Pledge Forms are due today and our goal is 100% participation. Families are asked to contribute a minimum of $50 per swimmer/$100 per family. Please hand in your pledge forms and $$ today (checks made payable to Almaden Riptide) to the Cumming Family file. Winners for most funds raised will be announced the week of Nov 5.
-Revised Practice Schedule for Halloween Week:
Only Achieving and Performing Groups will practice on Halloween, October 31st from 3:30-5:15. Happy Trick or Treating to the rest of our swim groups!
M-W Rec Group will practice with the Tuesday and Thursday Rec Group this week.
Rec Team has practice this Friday, Nov 2, 5:00-5:45
-Riptide is proud to announce a new swimming group for our high school athletes. Beginning on Monday, Nov. 5th, high school students who want to stay in shape for their high school team, but do not have the time to commit to a competitive team can choose the High School Conditioning Group. These athletes will practice from Monday through Thursday at 7:15 - 8:00 PM.
First month dues are: $295
Monthly dues after that: $120

*If your high school athlete is already registered with Riptide and wants to switch groups, please talk to Coach Kyle.
- Swimmers please enter the November 17-18 SCSC-MB Race to JO's. If you are not able to attend that meet, then enter the SCSC Morgan Hill Meet November 9-1.
Volunteers Needed-November volunteer positions to maintain the pool are now available at the following link. Please only one shift per family. Additional shifts will be deleted.

Call for Officials-If you are interested in learning how to be come an official for USA swimming, please contact Ron Garcia at firstname.lastname@example.org. It is a great way to earn your volunteer hours, and you get the best view of the swims. Please read this article about a shortage of officials nationwide. Swim meets cannot happen without our volunteer officials!
